The Whale is one of West Asheville's most beloved craft beer bars — and the bar top had to match the room's ambition. MTR fabricated a three-species butcher block bar top in walnut, maple, and cherry: a functional, beautiful surface that holds up to years of commercial use while giving the space a warm, handmade centerpiece.
